The NYChair Charrette on Bastille Day

The NYChair lab is a charrette that aims to propose design ideas for an iconic outdoor chair conceived just for NYC’s First Green Park. Forget about the ubiquitous Paris bistro foldable chair, come and draw revolutionary ideas for your NY parks.
Program is free and open to 5-99 year-olds

Introduction by Laetitia Wolff, founder of expoTENtial and executive director of desigNYC, and Silva Ajemian, principal at TODO DA and co-founder of First Green Street Park will be followed by presentations of innovative, place-making street furniture solutions by desigNYC’s DUB-studios and VAMOS Architects, and Marco A. Castro.
